Trek through bamboo forests and mountain passes into the mystical, rolling emerald ridges of Dzukou Valley, nestled at 8,000 feet on the Nagaland-Manipur frontier.
The first 1.5 to 2 hours from Viswema involve steep stone stairs through forest. Once you crest the ridge, the walk into the valley rest house is gentle and flat. Anyone with basic fitness can complete it.
The valley features the SAYO Community Rest House with basic shared dormitories and wooden plank floors. We also provide alpine tents and insulated mats for campers.
